Hair Transplant

Diagnosis-first hair transplant planning by Bonita Hair Clinic.

Led by certified trichology expertise and 17+ years of hair transplant experience, Bonita begins with the cause, progression, donor strength and long-term pattern of hair loss — then designs a responsible plan for a natural, age-appropriate result.

Overview

What Bonita evaluates before recommending hair transplantation.

A hair transplant can restore framing and density by moving healthy follicles from the donor area to thinning areas. At Bonita Hair Clinic, the procedure is considered only after evaluating hair loss pattern, donor reserve, scalp condition and realistic long-term needs.

Graft count is never treated as the starting point. Bonita’s diagnosis-first consultation combines certified trichology insight with 17+ years of transplant experience to decide whether FUE, DHI or a staged plan is the most responsible option.

Who hair transplantation is for

Stable hair loss

Best when the pattern has been assessed and future progression can be planned responsibly.

Protectable donor area

Sufficient donor quality to improve coverage without exhausting future options.

Receding hairline

For patients seeking refined framing, temple balance and a natural, age-appropriate design.

Realistic expectations

A clear understanding of donor limits, recovery, maintenance and long-term follow-up.

Diagnosis-first

Technique is chosen only after diagnosis.

FUE and DHI are techniques, not one-size-fits-all answers. Bonita first determines whether transplantation is appropriate, how the donor area can be protected, how many grafts can be planned responsibly, and where density will create the most natural visual improvement.

Certified trichology assessment

We review scalp health, miniaturisation, donor density, hair calibre and previous treatments before planning surgery.

Long-term planning

Your hairline is designed for your face today, your age, and the likely pattern of future hair loss.

Technique selection

FUE, DHI or a staged approach is recommended only when it fits the diagnosis, donor area and result goal.

A treatment process built around diagnosis and donor care

01

Consultation

We discuss your goals, hair loss history, medical background and expectations in detail.

02

Diagnosis

Certified trichology evaluation guides donor protection, recipient need and treatment suitability.

03

Design

The hairline is mapped to suit age, face shape, native direction and long-term credibility.

04

Extraction

Follicles are harvested carefully with donor area preservation and future planning in mind.

05

Implantation

FUE or DHI placement is selected and executed to respect angle, direction and density distribution.

06

Follow-up

Recovery, shedding, regrowth and maturation are followed with long-term guidance from the clinic.

Recovery timeline

Days 1–3

Initial healing, mild swelling and careful aftercare. The transplanted area is protected while the donor and recipient areas begin to stabilise.

Weeks 2–6

Shedding can occur as part of the normal cycle. Bonita’s follow-up guidance focuses on scalp care, donor comfort and safe return to routine.

Months 3–6

New growth usually begins gradually. Texture, direction and density are still developing, so progress is reviewed with patience.

Months 9–12+

Density, calibre and styling options mature. The final result is assessed alongside the long-term hair loss plan and follow-up needs.

Natural results are planned around your donor area and your age.

Hairline softness, single-hair placement, direction, temple transition and density gradient are planned with restraint.

Natural results

The goal is a hairline that belongs to the person, not the procedure.

Bonita prioritises age-appropriate design, responsible graft planning and donor stewardship. A strong result should restore proportion, remain credible in daylight and motion, and preserve options if hair loss continues over time.

Hair transplant FAQ

Is a hair transplant permanent?

Transplanted donor follicles are generally selected from areas less affected by pattern hair loss, but surrounding native hair can continue to change. Bonita plans with long-term follow-up in mind.

How many grafts will I need?

The number depends on donor quality, hair calibre, loss pattern, age, expectations and technique choice. Bonita recommends graft planning only after assessment — not before.

When will I see the final result?

Early growth often begins around three to six months, while density and maturity usually continue developing through twelve months or longer. Follow-up helps interpret each stage realistically.
